Jocks Juke Joint Vol 4 Launch

The launch for Volume 4 of Jock’s Juke Joint!
Show will take place at the Voodoo Rooms in association with Edinburgh Blues Club. We’re pleased to announce the following artists will be performing at the launch to Jock’s Juke Joint Vol 4 on Saturday 24 November:
Redfish are a blistering UK based soul-blues ensemble. A live phenomenon of growing reputation, this five-piece outfit mix original compositions with razor-sharp interpretations of classics from the canon. The band are not characterised by one star but by the intense musical chemistry they generate between them: their respect, not only for each other but for the music they play and the audiences they entertain, resonates with every note.

Mike Bowden and the A917 Band
An original blues based, guitar driven quartet …. incorporating many influences, but remaining true to the blues!! The band fills the hole left by Blue Swamp… and is perfect for festivals.
The Lynsey Dolan Band
The Lynsey Dolan Band are a 4 piece rock / blues outfit from Glasgow. Having toured with Imelda May and played on the Grassroots stage at Belladrum, sharing the bill with the likes of KT Tunstall and Badly Drawn Boy.
Scottish, singer-songwriter Stoney Broke creates a dynamic, eclectic inspired musical style, with inspired lyrics, layered upon driving, guitar to create an original and unmistakable sound.
High quality performances, and a commanding stage presence, has seen Stoney Broke become a regular on the UK Blues circuit. No stranger to performing in front of large audiences, appearances include venues and festivals in the UK and Australia, with the prestigious Port Fairy Folk Festival, Scarborough TOP SECRET Blues Festival, Bowness Bay Blues, and Southport Blues Festival, along with high profile support slots for The Red Hot Chilli Pipers, Willie And The Bandits, The Stumble, and Sean Webster Band.
From the 1940’s tunes of Louis Jordan to the contemporary songs of Gary Clark Jr via Tom Waits, Buddy Guy et al, this band delivers!
