The Voodoo Rooms is an award winning bar and restaurant with private rooms, which accommodate private parties, group lunches and dinners, gigs, corporate events, shows and much more. The Edinburgh Blues Club host our shows in the ballroom which has a maximum standing capacity of 200 or fully seated capacity of 120.

Location
The Voodoo Rooms, 19a West Register St, Edinburgh, EH2 2AA
The Voodoo Rooms is in central Edinburgh. Princes Street, Waverley Train Station and Edinburgh Bus Station are within 5 minutes walk. There is limited on street parking near to the venue which is free after 6.30pm.

Accessibility
The venue is accessed via 30 steps, the main part of the premises being on the 2nd floor, and unfortunately there is no disabled access. As the premises were built circa 1800 and are partially A-Listed alterations have just not been possible or practical. The main stairwell is the main fire escape so putting in a chair lift here has not been possible due to fire regulations and restrictions. By all means if guests have someone that is able to help them up the stairs and in to the venue then the staff will of course do what they can to make guests as comfortable as possible.

Toilets
The main toilets are on the 2nd floor which can be reached via the main stairwell. Once on this floor there are no more steps to the main toilets, however these toilets do not have wheelchair access. Toilets within the private rooms all have steps up to them and again do not have wheelchair access.

Seating
We always provide some seating at Edinburgh Blues Club shows, however this is limited on busier nights. Seats and tables are generally taken on a first come first served basis. Due to the limited size of the room, it is not possible to reserve a table, however if you are coming to a show and specifically require a seat to be kept for you, feel free to email our events manager Paul paul@edinburgh-blues.uk
